Pakko Mitra

Terms of Service

Effective date: 25 July 2026  ·  Last updated: 25 July 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Pakko Mitra when you use our apps and websites. Please read them. By using our Services you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the Services.

Who we are

Pakko Mitra,
Morbi, Gujarat, India
support@pakkomitra.com

What these terms cover

Together, “our Services”. These terms replace all earlier Pakko Mitra terms of service, including the version dated 29 June 2024.

01What our Services are

Shala Mitra is a study aid for school students in Gujarat. Gujarati Calendar Mitra is a Gujarati calendar and panchang app. Our websites carry related educational, calendar and devotional material.

Our Services are made for users in India. If you use them from another country, you do so on your own initiative and you are responsible for following the laws that apply to you there.

02Who can use them

Our apps carry a Google Play content rating suitable for all ages, and there is no login, registration or form anywhere in our Services. If you are a minor under the law where you live, you should use the Services with the knowledge of your parent, guardian or teacher, and they should read these terms with you.

By using the Services you confirm that you will use them lawfully, and that you will not use automated tools to access them.

03Cost, ads and paid features

Our Services are free to use and are supported by ads.

Some features may be offered as an optional one-time in-app purchase, for example to remove ads. There is no recurring subscription and nothing renews automatically.

Any purchase is sold and billed by Google Play, not by us. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may change from time to time. Refunds are handled by Google under the Google Play refund policy; we cannot process a refund ourselves. If something you paid for is not working, email us at support@pakkomitra.com and we will try to fix it.

04Educational and calendar content

Pakko Mitra is an independent publisher. We are not affiliated with, authorised by, endorsed by or connected to GSEB, GCERT, the Government of Gujarat or any board, department or examination authority.

Our apps and websites reproduce or link to official educational material, including GSEB and GCERT textbooks, syllabus documents, circulars and question papers, so that students can find them in one place. This material is provided for study and reference. It is not an official publication and we do not present it as one.

Where our content differs from the official version, the official version is correct. Always check the official board or department source before relying on anything for an exam, an application or a deadline. We cannot promise that our content is complete, current or free of errors, and we do not guarantee any exam result or outcome.

Calendar, tithi, festival, muhurat and panchang information is drawn from traditional calculations and published sources. Different traditions and regions differ. Treat it as guidance, not as a ruling.

We may correct, change or remove content at any time.

05What we own

We own or license the parts of the Services we made ourselves: the app source code, design and layout, our own written explanations, notes, summaries and graphics, our databases and our arrangement of content. The names Pakko Mitra, Shala Mitra and Gujarati Calendar Mitra, together with our logos and app icons, are our marks.

You may not copy, republish, translate, redistribute, sell, license or build a competing product or database from our original material without our written permission. Requests can go to support@pakkomitra.com.

We keep every right we have not expressly given you in these terms.

06What others own

Not everything in our Services belongs to us, and we do not claim that it does.

We include this material for educational and reference use, with attribution where we can identify the source. If you want to use it for anything else, get permission from the rights holder, not from us — we cannot grant rights we do not have.

07Copyright complaints

If you own the rights to something in our Services and you believe we have used it without permission, write to support@pakkomitra.com with a link or screenshot showing where it appears, a description of the work, and confirmation that you are the rights holder or are authorised to act for them. We will review the complaint and remove or credit the material where the complaint is well founded.

08What you may do

You may install and use our apps on devices you own or control, and use our websites, for your own personal, non-commercial study or reference. You may download or print pages for your own use, and teachers may use them in their own classroom teaching.

This is a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission that we can withdraw if you break these terms.

09What you may not do

If you do any of these, your permission to use the Services ends.

10Feedback you send us

Our Services have no comment box, upload feature or public posting of any kind, so there is no user content in them.

If you email us a question, correction, suggestion or idea, we may use it to improve our Services, and to reply to you. You keep ownership of what you send. Please do not send us anything confidential, and do not send us material that belongs to someone else unless you are allowed to share it. We are not obliged to act on a suggestion or to pay for it.

11Privacy and your data

Our Privacy Policy explains what is collected and why, and it forms part of these terms.

In short: we have no login and we keep no user database of our own. Your app settings, such as your standard, language and saved items, are stored on your device and are removed when you clear the app data or uninstall the app. The ad and analytics services built into our Services — Google AdMob, Google AdSense, Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics — collect device, identifier, usage and crash information, and Google handles that information under its own policies, which may involve processing outside India.

Because your settings live only on your device, we cannot restore them for you if you lose the device, uninstall the app or clear its data. Keep your own copy of anything you need.

12Ads and other websites

Ads in our apps and on our websites are served by Google. We choose where ad space appears, but not which specific ad you see, and we do not check, endorse or take responsibility for what an advertiser says, sells or does. Any dealing you have with an advertiser is between you and them.

Our Services also link to other websites, including official board and government pages. Once you leave our Services, these terms no longer apply and the other site's terms and privacy practices do. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

13Google Play

Our apps are distributed through Google Play. Your use of the app is also subject to the Google Play terms, and you must follow them.

Google does not support, maintain or warrant our app; we do. Google is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to you in connection with our app, but it may enforce the parts of these terms that concern its distribution of the app.

14Changes and downtime

We may add, change, suspend or remove features, content or an entire app or website at any time. We may also update these terms when our Services or the services we rely on change; the updated version will be published here with a new “Last updated” date, and continuing to use the Services after that means you accept it. For a significant change we will try to give notice in the app.

We cannot promise the Services will always be available or error-free. Maintenance, technical faults, a change by Google, or a problem with your device or network may interrupt them. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by an interruption or by discontinuing a Service.

15Ending your access

You can stop using the Services at any time by uninstalling the app or leaving the websites.

We may block or restrict access to the Services, including by blocking an IP address, if you break these terms or use the Services unlawfully. As there are no accounts, this does not involve closing an account. If we block your access, the sections of these terms that are meant to survive — ownership, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and governing law — continue to apply.

16No warranties

The Services are provided as they are and as available. We do not promise that they will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, and we do not promise that the content is accurate or complete. To the extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties that are not expressly stated here.

You are responsible for how you use the Services and for the decisions you take based on them.

17Our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, lost marks, lost opportunity, lost profit or lost revenue arising from your use of the Services.

Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have actually paid us for in-app purchases in the Services. If you have not paid us anything, the Services are provided to you free of charge.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Indian law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing in these terms affects any right you have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

18Your responsibility to us

If someone brings a claim against us because of the way you used the Services — for example because you redistributed our content, infringed a third party's rights, or broke these terms or the law — you agree to cover the loss, damage and reasonable legal costs that we suffer as a result. We will tell you about such a claim when we become aware of it, and we may take over the defence of it ourselves.

19Law and disputes

These terms and any dispute about them or about the Services are governed by the laws of India.

If you have a problem, please email support@pakkomitra.com first. Most things can be sorted out that way, and we ask both sides to try to settle a dispute informally for thirty (30) days before starting proceedings.

If a dispute cannot be settled, the courts at Morbi and Rajkot, Gujarat, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over it, and you and we both agree to submit to their jurisdiction. Either of us may still ask any court with proper jurisdiction for urgent interim relief, including an injunction, to protect intellectual property or to stop misuse.

20Other terms

These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Services. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we do not lose the right to enforce it later. If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to someone else, for example if the business changes hands. These terms do not create a partnership, joint venture or employment relationship between you and us.

These terms are published in English. If we publish a Gujarati translation and the two differ, the English version prevails.

Using the Services and emailing us are electronic communications. You agree that notices and agreements delivered electronically satisfy any requirement that they be in writing.
